Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kazuka Fuujin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Cabrera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fuujin comes to the cage accompanied by GAMBLER. Lucas Cabrera is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kazuka Fuujin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lucas Cabrera!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuujin takes a swing at Cabrera's ribcage but misses.
Fuujin tests Cabrera's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A telegraphed right hand from Fuujin misses the target.
Fuujin just misses with a punch to the body.
Fuujin misses the shot to the body.
Kazuka Fuujin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cabrera moves out of range as Fuujin strikes.
Cabrera feints the counter takedown.
Fuujin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cabrera manages to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Fuujin lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Cabrera has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Cabrera and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Cabrera is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Fuujin cracks a nice hook into Cabrera's ribs.
Fuujin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fuujin is pulling down on Cabrera's head to control his posture.
Cabrera must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Fuujin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Fuujin throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Cabrera escapes and throws Fuujin's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Cabrera content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Fuujin is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

It looks like Cabrera might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Fuujin postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Fuujin looking to sit in guard and control but Cabrera gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Fuujin looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Cabrera has picked Fuujin up and slammed him! Fuujin can't keep hold of the triangle and Cabrera manages to pass to side control!

Fuujin sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Fuujin holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Fuujin wants to improve his position but Cabrera is controlling well.

Fuujin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Fuujin is looking for a triangle here but Cabrera uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Fuujin sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Still in half guard, Cabrera seems content to control.

Fuujin is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Cabrera pulls his head out easily.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Cabrera is figuring out what he wants to do next.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kazuka Fuujin will probably get the nod.
That's time! Fuujin's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Fuujin catches Cabrera with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
