Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dean Green!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joey Singleterry!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, John Roberts and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green is looking to clinch but Singleterry is avoiding it.

Green gets the takedown into side control.
Singleterry is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Singleterry dodges the ground and pound from Green.
Singleterry is looking for a sweep.
Green sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Singleterry is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Singleterry shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Green is trying to defend but Singleterry finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Singleterry has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Green is trying to keep an underhook but Singleterry manages to get the takedown into half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Green tries to buck Singleterry off but Singleterry is having none of it.
Singleterry gets to mount! Green was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Singleterry wants to control the pace but Green is squirming around nicely.
Singleterry pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Joey Singleterry has got the better of the ground game so far.

Singleterry goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Green turns into him and now he's in Singleterry's guard.
Singleterry tries to land a sweep but no joy.

We've been informed that Singleterry has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Green postures up in Singleterry's guard and throws a big left but Singleterry blocks it.
Green is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Green stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Singleterry swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Green trying to control the position from guard on top but Singleterry is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Singleterry bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Green's guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Singleterry is in close to Green's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Green keeping moving, preventing Singleterry from controlling successfully.
Green wants to sweep but no luck.
Singleterry throwing strikes but missing.
Singleterry should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Green looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Green can't keep his opponent in guard - Singleterry advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Joey Singleterry showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
