Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maurice Zulu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Lewis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Maurice Zulu!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Franklyn Lucas and John Roberts.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lewis gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Zulu to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Lewis can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Zulu controls the pace.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lewis escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Zulu gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Zulu is stalling in the full guard.
Zulu distracts Lewis with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

It looks like James Lewis has been cut.
Zulu postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Zulu pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lewis is keeping the position for now.
Zulu chips away with some ground and pound.
Lewis trying to keep a closed guard but Zulu is proving a slippery customer.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Zulu keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Lewis's head.

Zulu stands and steps away. Lewis gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Lewis is breathing heavily.

Zulu bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

James Lewis's cut is getting worse.
Zulu lands a strong strike to the head of Lewis. That's dazed him! Zulu looking to finish here. Lewis is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Zulu lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
