Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lonje Moco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francois Permitis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moco tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Permitis paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Permitis shoots for a double leg takedown but Moco sprawls well. He's pushed Permitis's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Moco jabs Permitis right on the nose. Permitis blinks but takes it well.

Permitis closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Moco to the mat! Moco manages to get full guard.
Moco on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Moco tries to get out of the position.
Permitis is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Permitis drops back, looking for a kneebar! Moco looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Moco looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Moco!

Permitis is trying to get back to half guard.
Permitis takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Moco really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Permitis isn't going anywhere.

Permitis tries to bench press Moco off him but Moco keeps the position.
You can see the frustration on Permitis's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Permitis felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Moco wants to control for a moment but Permitis uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Moco will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Permitis is refusing to be controlled, as Moco sits in half guard.

The fighters are battling for position here. Permitis manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Permitis bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Moco's guard.

Moco knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Permitis on the ground.

Permitis is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Moco is aware though and is defending well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Moco looking to improve position, pressing down on Permitis's thigh with his hand. Permitis seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Moco paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Moco's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Permitis picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
