With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tomas Silva!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Glass and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz swings and misses with a hook to the body.
We've been hearing reports that Diaz has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Diaz avoids a punch combination nicely.
Diaz misses the shot to the body.
Diaz throws a head kick but Silva moves out of range.
Silva checks a leg kick.
Diaz throws a sloppy body shot
and Silva counters with a three punch combo that has Diaz backing up. Diaz nods at Silva to acknowledge the strikes.

Silva tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Diaz manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Sergio Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Diaz.
Diaz misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Silva fails in his attempt to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Diaz swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Silva looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Diaz misses with a low kick as Silva jumps back.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Silva lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Silva.

Diaz throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Silva displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Diaz throws out the jab.
Diaz walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Silva checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Silva wants to counter with a clinch but Diaz pushes him away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Diaz. Silva does a little dance to reset his feet.

Diaz misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Silva.
Diaz throws a hook but Silva blocks it.
Diaz looks to land a right hand but Silva moved out of range.
Silva misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Diaz swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Silva avoids the body shot from Diaz.

Silva unleashes a big counter combination but Diaz bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Diaz tries a low kick but Silva avoids it.
Silva is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Silva gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Diaz to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Diaz seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Diaz is pushing down on Silva's leg trying to pass to half guard. Silva is fighting to maintain full guard but Diaz has managed to sneak the leg through.

Diaz is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
