Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Edgardo Cline (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felix Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cline shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hernandez manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Hernandez pulls Cline in close to his closed guard and prevents Cline from doing any damage or advancing position.
Cline tries to stand but Hernandez is controlling from the bottom.
Hernandez is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Cline is controlling him.
Cline wants to get up but he can't break Hernandez's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cline is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hernandez is aware though and is defending well.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Hernandez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cline doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cline manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hernandez connects with a nice short shot to Cline's temple.
Hernandez seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
