The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kashka shoots in for a double leg but Azevedo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Azevedo closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kashka's guard.
Azevedo sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kashka's guard.
Azevedo not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Azevedo content to control rather than advance.
Azevedo's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Azevedo is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
