Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Edward Faulk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kieta Vivian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Edward Faulk looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Santiago Holmes and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faulk connects with a right hand. Vivian shakes it off.
Vivian shoots in looking for a takedown. Faulk tries to sprawl out of it but Vivian keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Faulk manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Faulk misses with a low kick.
Faulk scores with a nice strike.
Faulk throws a leg kick that misses.
Vivian darts in looking for a takedown but Faulk gets double underhooks and turns Vivian into the cage.
Vivian shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Faulk as he avoids it easily.
Edward Faulk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kieta Vivian.
Vivian goes for a double leg but Faulk avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Faulk continues to drive forward.
Faulk defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Vivian.
Faulk uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Faulk stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Faulk wants it to stay on the feet.

Vivian tries to move into range but Faulk moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vivian shoots in for a takedown but Faulk shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Faulk connects with a good right hand that stumbles Vivian. Vivian circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Vivian tries to keep at a distance but Faulk has taken the fight into the clinch.
Faulk is pressed up against the cage. Vivian has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Faulk down to the mat. Faulk avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Vivian looks winded!
Faulk lands an overhand right.
Vivian gets tackled into the cage by Faulk. Faulk maintains the clinch.
Vivian is working for takedown but Faulk is calmly controlling the position for now.

Vivian looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Vivian changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Faulk fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Vivian shoots for a double leg takedown but Faulk sprawls well. He's pushed Vivian's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Faulk takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Faulk stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Faulk lands a jab to the head.
Faulk throws a right and a left that Vivian avoids nicely.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vivian shoots for a takedown but Faulk saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Faulk misses with a leg kick
and Vivian counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Vivian.

Vivian is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Faulk can't fight it off and eventually Vivian manages to take the fight to the floor. Faulk looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Vivian pushes down on Faulk's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Vivian is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Faulk is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
