Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Junior Jawo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rory Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rory Williams!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Reed Andrews and David Schapiro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jawo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Williams tries to avoid it but Jawo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Williams to the ground. Williams escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Williams throws out a counter right but Jawo avoids it with no problem.
Williams throws a hook but Jawo avoids it easily.
Williams shoots for a double leg takedown but Jawo sprawls well. He's pushed Williams's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Jawo fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Jawo scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Jawo tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Jawo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jawo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Williams has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jawo has managed to get both his arms back between Williams's legs - danger averted.

Williams is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jawo is just riding it out for now. Williams eventually gives up the hold.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Williams working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Williams in particular looking to stall.
Jawo is looking to get back to full guard here but Williams has managed to pass to side control instead.

Jawo has gone for a leg lock! Williams slips out almost immediately though and dives into Jawo's guard.

Jawo isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Williams stacks Jawo on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Williams!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jawo is looking for a sweep.
Williams is looking to take a break and control but Jawo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Williams is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jawo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Williams will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Junior Jawo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Williams bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jawo's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jawo looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Williams has picked Jawo up and slammed him! Jawo can't keep hold of the triangle and Williams manages to pass to side control!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Williams cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Rory Williams has got the better of the ground game so far.

Williams has got one arm under Jawo's chin. This could be trouble... Jawo trying to control the other hand but Williams gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Jawo has tapped out! The fight is over!
