The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Night fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Randall, pushing him back against the cage.
Randall tries for a takedown. No joy.
Night is trying to break free.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Night pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Night changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Randall looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Randall is looking to get back to his feet here but Night is keeping cool and he's managed to take Randall's back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Night sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Randall is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Randall is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Night is controlling him well.

Night thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

You can see the frustration on Randall's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Randall really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Night decides to stand up, so the ref orders Randall to his feet.
Night throws a right hand that Randall ducks under and follows up with a left that Randall also avoids with ease.
Night throws a series of punches but Randall avoids them all with ease.
Randall changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Night dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Randall has had enough and taps out.
