Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Smokey Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kale Strong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simpson comes into the arena with Blaze all day by- KOTTONMOUTH KINGS blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Strong pushes Simpson back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Strong lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Strong lands a hook that snaps the head of Simpson backwards.
Strong just leaning against Simpson, taking a breather.
Strong connects with a knee to the head.
Simpson is rocked!
Strong dips a shoulder and cracks Simpson with a mighty uppercut! Simpson falls back against the cage and Strong unloads with a barrage of strikes! Simpson is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Strong screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kale Strong!
