PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between The Hound (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jax Teller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jax Teller was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hound fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Teller avoids it really well and circles away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hound shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Teller pinned against the cage. Teller gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Hound closes this distance looking for a takedown but Teller circles away.

Teller throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hound stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Teller leaves Hound with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

I was talking to Hound's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

I would just about give that final round to Jax Teller.
Well Hound has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
