Spong comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Can't be touched kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Tyrone Spong has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kriel is trying hard to land a takedown here. Spong sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Spong misses with a wild body shot.
Kriel is looking to counter the offense by Spong and move into the clinch.
Kriel staying out of range there.
A punch lands to the side of Kriel 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Kriel is looking to land body kicks.
Kriel shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Spong but Spong pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Spong swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Spong has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Spong digs a good body shot into Kriel's ribs.
Spong scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Kriel walks into a left hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kriel thows a leg kick but Spong checks it
and Spong counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A telegraphed right hand from Spong misses the target.
Spong connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Spong cracks Kriel with an open hand slap.
Oh Kriel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Spong wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Kriel is breathing heavily.
Spong scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Kriel doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Kriel seems to have got his legs back now.
Kriel on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Kriel walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Spong scores with a shot to the body.
Tyrone Spong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Spong connects with a body shot.
Spong throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kriel stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Spong lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Kriel seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Tyrone Spong is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Spong uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kriel has time to react.
Spong drops Kriel with a naaaaasty hook - Kriel is in real trouble here! Spong dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
