PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Curt Wooten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Borys Mankowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mankowski has chosen Kękę -Wyjebane as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mankowski fails with the takedown.
Mankowski fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Wooten rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mankowski moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Mankowski lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Wooten goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
A right-left combo lands from Wooten.
We've been told by Wooten's head coaches at SP ICON sucks donkey dick that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Wooten rushes Mankowski and presses him up against the cage.
Mankowski throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Wootens head.
Mankowski works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Mankowski tries to work over Wooten's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Wooten digs a right hand into Mankowski's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Mankowski's gas tank.
Mankowski tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mankowski wants a takedown but no success here.
Curt Wooten has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Borys Mankowski.
Wooten is struggling to control the position.

Wooten is trying to force a seperation but Mankowski has the dominant position.
A right handed body shot lands from Mankowski.
Mankowski is working for takedown but Wooten is calmly controlling the position for now.

Mankowski has picked Wooten up - he's going for a ride! Mankowski dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Wooten is looking to control Mankowski's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Wooten avoid being mounted?

Mankowski works his foot free and advances to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wooten tries to lock up and control but Mankowski gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like Mankowski might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Wooten is in a horrible position here. Mankowski smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Mankowski is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Wooten is forced to tap! Great finish!
