Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fabio Ramos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Laurent Loughlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Loughlin is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Metallica - Damage Inc.. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ramos shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Loughlin as he jumps to the side.

The crowd cheers as Loughlin lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ramos doesn't seem phased though.

Ramos shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Loughlin pinned against the cage. Loughlin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Ramos. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Loughlin waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Ramos. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Ramos to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

It looks like Fabio Ramos has been cut.

Loughlin stands up from guard. Let's bang!

No joy there for Loughlin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Loughlin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Loughlin cracks Ramos with an uppercut from hell and Ramos crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Loughlin's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Oh Ramos is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Loughlin decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Ramos seems to have got his legs back now.
Loughlin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Loughlin misses with a few strikes there.
Ramos shoots in and drives through. Loughlin sprawls well.
Loughlin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Loughlin feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Ramos sprawling to the canvas! Ramos rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Loughlin finish him?!

Loughlin has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Loughlin drops Ramos with a nice combination! Loughlin dives into Ramos's guard, looking to finish!

Fabio Ramos's cut is getting worse.
Loughlin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
