The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leclair slips under a jab from Neece.
Leclair sizes up Neece with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Neece shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Leclair counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Neece thinking.
Neece is breathing heavily.
Leclair scores with a nice right hand.
Leclair throws a right and a left that Neece avoids nicely.
Leclair throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Leclair swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Neece.
No joy there for Leclair, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A right-left combo lands from Leclair.
Leclair pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Neece back to the cage. Leclair follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Neece seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Leclair jumps guard but Neece stands there with Leclair around his waist. Leclair gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Leclair is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Neece can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Leclair controls the pace.

Leclair stands up and waves to Neece to follow him.
Leclair will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Leclair lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Neece at a distance.
Leclair fails to land with a series of punches.
Leclair misses with a wild combination.
Neece with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Leclair to score with a decent uppercut.
Leclair throws a right and a left that Neece avoids nicely.
Leclair ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Leclair avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Neece takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Leclair wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Leclair throws a good cross that connects.
Leclair takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Neece is rocked!
Leclair Throws a clean left jab. Leclair Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Neece's chin! Neece crumbles to the ground and Leclair follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Leclair!

After the fight, Philippe Leclair was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
In defeat, Don Neece stepped up to the mic, saying 'Dammit'.
