Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chang Ru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zack Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ru comes into the arena with Muay Thai Inspiration 3 blaring out of the sound system. Williams is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Get up on my Level. Chang Ru is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ru closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Ru is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

Williams works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Williams drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Williams jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Ru wants to get back to his feet but Williams is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
My spies in School of Hard Knocks (Elite Training for $225) inform me that Williams has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Williams throws a strike but Ru rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ru wants to stand but Williams has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Ru wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Williams's closed guard. He's half up but Williams has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Williams pivots and extends the arm, Ru falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Williams! Well done that man!
