Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Young checks a leg kick.
Young seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Galt shoots for a takedown but Young saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Galt tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Young is able to avoid easily.
Galt throws a leg kick but Young moved away.
Young takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Galt lands a really nice looking cross but Young seems unphased.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Galt.
Young takes one to the chin there.
Young chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Galt can pounce on him.
Galt ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Young moves away.
Galt connects with a nice looking jab.
Galt misses with a jab, cross combination.
Galt dives in and grabs Young's left leg, looking for a takedown. Young pushes down on Galt's head and hops out.
Galt throws a shot from downtown. Young moves away and avoids it.

Galt darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Galt working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Young's thigh. Young counters though and makes it back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Galt is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Young is aware though and is defending well.
Young wants to stand but Galt has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Galt working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Young doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Young manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Young avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

We've been told by Young's head coaches at LOD - Slaughterhouse that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Young lands a jab to the nose.

And Galt tries to counter it with a takedown but Young pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Young takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

It looked like Young wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Galt is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Young.
Galt misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Young darts in and clinches Galt up against the cage.
Young just leaning against Galt, taking a breather.
Young creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Galt's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Galt drops to his knees and Young pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
