Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Monty Jacoby!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lucien Wolf!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Chris Saunders and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacoby connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Wolf misses with the combination.
Jacoby moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Wolf misses with a takedown
and Jacoby cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Jacoby scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Jacoby slaps away a takedown attempt from Wolf, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jacoby stuns Wolf with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Jacoby scores with a crisp jab that stopped Wolf in his tracks.
Danga de danga de dang - Jacoby scores with a four punch combination!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wolf takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Wolf leaves Jacoby with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Wolf tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wolf throws a jab but it's blocked by Jacoby.
Jacoby stuns Wolf with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Jacoby takes a swing at Wolf's ribcage but misses.
Wolf looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Monty Jacoby seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jacoby throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wolf misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Jacoby counters with a takedown into side control.
Jacoby wants to control but Wolf is keeping him busy.
Wolf manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Wolf has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Jacoby blocking the ground and pound.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jacoby is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Jacoby is trying to escape the mount but Wolf keeps good control and instead manages to take Jacoby's back.
Jacoby is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Wolf.
Wolf throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage.
Jacoby wants to control his opponent's hands but Wolf gets his hands free.
Jacoby is keeping busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jacoby trying to control the position but Wolf manages to sink in the hooks.

Wolf working for a choke but Jacoby is defending well.
Wolf is cranking Jacoby's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Jacoby! He's tightened the choke and Jacoby is tapping out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Lucien Wolf!
In his post fight interview, Lucien Wolf started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
