Martin stuffs the takedown attempt from vanEsselstyn. vanEsselstyn gets slowly back to his feet.

Martin closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming vanEsselstyn to the mat! vanEsselstyn manages to get full guard.
vanEsselstyn manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Martin is working to get back to half guard.
vanEsselstyn postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Martin looks a forlorn figure.
