The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flanery misses with a takedown attempt - themuse sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
themuse throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

themuse shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Flanery is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Flanery not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

themuse swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Flanery is now in themuse's guard. A big mistake from themuse there, giving up the dominant position!
