Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Borin Chim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rony Jason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jason chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Chim can pounce on him.

Chim looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

We've been informed that Jason has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Chim closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Chim swings around for an armbar but Jason sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Chim's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Chim is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jason defends well.

Chim is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Jason is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Chim throws his legs up looking for a submission but Jason uses it to pass to side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
