Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between David Datsik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sparky Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Datsik comes into the arena with Classic blaring out of the sound system. Sparky Anderson has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with David Datsik's chin.

Datsik has his foot on Anderson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Anderson works his way back into a safe position though.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Anderson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Datsik - the referee stops the clock and Anderson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Datsik. Anderson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Anderson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Datsiks jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Anderson moves into range and connects with a jab.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Anderson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Datsik has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Datsik and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Datsik takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Sparky Anderson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Anderson slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
David Datsik has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Anderson fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Datsik to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Datsik looks to clinch but Anderson throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Datsik taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Sparky Anderson opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
