Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Terrence Funk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and St Petersburg Strangler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Strangler has chosen Let Me Through by The Dead Weather as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Terrence Funk has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, St Petersburg Strangler!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strangler throws a body shot but no joy.
Funk misses the jab.
Funk looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Strangler looks to land a left hand but Funk moved out of range nicely.
Strangler throws a lazy right hand but Funk sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Funk closes the distance and clinches.

Funk wants the takedown. Strangler is fighting it off but Funk persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Strangler's guard against the cage.

Funk has picked Strangler up - he's going for a ride! Funk dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Funk seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Strangler does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
