The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kissell throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Pants tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kissell is in Pants's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kissell accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Pants is trying to hold Kissell in close to prevent damage but Kissell has managed to pass into half guard.

Kissell is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Pants doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kissell.

Kissell is taking a breather. Pants says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kissell maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Pants could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Kissell has cracked it and Pants is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Kissell!
