The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tow throws a body punch but Wahlberg moves out of range.
Wahlberg feints and then cracks Tow's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Tow down.
Wahlberg lands a leg kick that knocks Tow off balance momentarily.
Tow tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Tow darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Wahlberg has one foot on Tow's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Wahlberg fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A solid leg kick lands there for Wahlberg.

Wahlberg swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Wahlberg holds on and takes a little breather.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Tow misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Wahlberg makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Tow really felt that one!

Wahlberg lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Tow darts in looking for a takedown but Wahlberg gets double underhooks and turns Tow into the cage.
Wahlberg fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Tow has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

and Wahlberg makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Tow shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tow showed some decent athleticism there.

Tow is controlling the pace.
Wahlberg is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

Wahlberg tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Wahlberg wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Tow throws a lazy uppercut
and Wahlberg makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Wahlberg is looking to slow Tow down with leg kicks.
Tow takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Tow throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wahlberg's waist but Wahlberg gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tow off to one side.
Mark Wahlberg has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Little Tow.
Wahlberg turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Tow shoots in for a takedown but Wahlberg shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Tow fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wahlberg manages to avoid it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

and Wahlberg counters with a body kick that stops Tow in his tracks momentarily.
Tow takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Tow rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Wahlberg counters with a slapping leg kick.
Tow sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Wahlberg lands a nice leg kick that just misses Tow's sensitive parts.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Tow crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Wahlberg - the referee stops the clock and Tow gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Wahlberg. Tow manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Wahlberg throws a nice head kick!
Wahlberg wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Tow on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wahlberg thows a body kick. Tow tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Wahlberg dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Tow. That did some damage!
Wahlberg throws a leg kick which misses Tow's front leg but catches the back leg as Tow tries to avoid it.
Wahlberg lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Wahlberg throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Tow takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Wahlberg throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Tow is breathing heavily.
Wahlberg goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

A nice inside leg kick there by Wahlberg. That's going to slow Tow down.
Wahlberg is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tow can do to turn this around?

and Wahlberg counters with a straight right hand.
Tow's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Wahlberg lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Wahlberg turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Wahlberg lands a big head kick that sends Tow tumbling to the mat! Wahlberg takes a step backwards and waves Tow back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Tow has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Wahlberg.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tow walks straight into a right hand from Wahlberg - that's dropped him! Wahlberg jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Tow from any more punishment! Tow complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

A relieved looking Mark Wahlberg thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
