Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Untlicker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Glenn Swiftwater!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, John Roberts and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swiftwater shoots in but Untlicker avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Untlicker throws a right hand that Swiftwater ducks under and follows up with a left that Swiftwater also avoids with ease.
Swiftwater misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Swiftwater fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Chris Untlicker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Glenn Swiftwater.
Swiftwater dodges the punch combination from Untlicker.

The referee warns Untlicker that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Swiftwater is going olschool here, as he tries to force Untlicker to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Untlicker shrugs it off.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Untlicker postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Swiftwater is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Untlicker's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Chris Untlicker will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Swiftwater looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Untlicker is fending him off so far but Swiftwater persists. Nope, Untlicker circles away and we're back to standing.

Swiftwater moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Swiftwater has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Untlicker finds it's way round the side to connect with Swiftwater's head.
Swiftwater takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Untlicker uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Swiftwater has time to react.

Untlicker misses with a few strikes there.
Untlicker connects with a single shot there.
Swiftwater swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Untlicker to counter with a crisp jab.
The fighters circle momentarily. Untlicker darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Untlicker clobbers Swiftwater with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Untlicker throws a series of punches but Swiftwater moves out of range.

Swiftwater changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Untlicker tries to avoid it but Swiftwater manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Untlicker to the ground. Untlicker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Untlicker stalks Swiftwater and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Swiftwater's face. Swiftwater staggers backwards, shaken.

Swiftwater has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Untlicker is trying to keep an underhook but Swiftwater manages to get the takedown into half guard.
