Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Majors (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dimple Pinch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dimple Pinch is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dimple Pinch!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Santiago Holmes and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Majors tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Pinch takes a swing at Majors's ribcage but misses.

Majors moves into the clinch.

Majors successfully pulls guard.
Pinch trying to control the position from guard on top but Majors is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Majors is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Majors controls Pinch momentarily but Pinch frees himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Majors keeping full guard, as Pinch tries to pass.

Majors is looking for a triangle but Pinch pushes his legs off easily.
Pinch wants to control from the top but Majors keeps moving.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Pinch walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Majors checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Majors looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Majors shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Pinch misses with a looping left.
Majors looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pinch is fending him off so far but Majors persists. Nope, Pinch circles away and we're back to standing.

Dimple Pinch is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Pinch keeps the fight on the outside.
Pinch lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Majors fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pinch avoids it really well and circles away.

Majors moves in looking to clinch but Pinch pushes him off.

Pinch cracks Majors with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

and Pinch counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Pinch lands a nice looking body shot.
Pinch throws a series of punches but Majors avoids them all with ease.
Majors wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

and Pinch counters with a three punch combo that has Majors backing up. Majors nods at Pinch to acknowledge the strikes.

Majors shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Pinch napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Majors tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Pinch tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Dimple Pinch dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Pinch throws out a loose jab but Majors uses good head movement to avoid it.

Pinch displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Majors.
Pinch walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Majors checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Pinch is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Majors tightens his grip and picks Pinch up, before dumping him to the ground. Pinch manages to land in guard.
Majors stays in close to Pinch's body and controls the position.

Pinch throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Majors escapes and throws Pinch's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Majors wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Pinch, who protects the arm well.

Pinch tries to buck Majors off but Majors is having none of it.
Pinch is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Majors looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Majors decides to stand back up. Majors steps back and let's Pinch get back to his feet.

Majors drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Majors misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Pinch stuck in half guard on the bottom here.
Pinch gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Pinch moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Majors wants to control from the top but Pinch keeps moving.

Majors wants to pass the guard but Pinch is keeping the position.
Majors wants to get up but he can't break Pinch's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Majors postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Pinch looking to hit a scissor sweep but Majors is one step ahead there.
Majors is looking to work some ground and pound but Pinch has wrist control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Pinch struggles to land a body shot inside as Majors controls his hands.
Pinch misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Pinch tries to throw a body punch but Majors avoids it by throwing Pinch back against the cage.

Majors slips under a jab.
Majors has his takedown stuffed
and Pinch counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Majors shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Majors showed some decent athleticism there.

Majors looking for a submission but Pinch manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Pinch preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Majors looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Majors throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pinch's waist but Pinch gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Majors off to one side.

Majors drives through with a takedown into Pinch's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

I would just about give that final round to Dimple Pinch.
I think Pinch has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
