The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nash manages to avoid it.
Nash tries to counter by closing the distance.
Nash is trying hard to land a takedown here. Joe sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Nash's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Joe connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Nash scrambles back to his feet.
Joe could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Nash shoots in and drives through. Joe sprawls well.

and Joe counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Joe takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nash manages to get to full guard.

Joe is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Nash has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Joe is looking to defend but Nash has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Joe! Nash pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Joe taps out and this one is all over!
