Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Terry Akki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, John Brown!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akki connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

It looks like John Brown has been cut.
Akki throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Brown fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
As Brown backs away, Akki returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
A solid leg kick lands there for Akki.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Brown is defended easily by Akki.
Akki fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Brown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Brown scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Brown seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Akki does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Brown looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Akki with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
