PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Kolchak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ukko Metso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kolchak comes to the ring accompanied by Gortoz a ran - J'attends. Metso is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Metallica - Seek And Destroy. Ukko Metso told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Metso will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Metso postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kolchak is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Metso, into his guard.
Kolchak wants to get up but he can't break Metso's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Metso escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kolchak gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Metso has his feet on Kolchak's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Metso throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Metso sizes up Kolchak with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
