Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cruz Frederick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Di Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Cruz Frederick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jose Di Silva!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Colin Fray and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Frederick as Di Silva shoots in.
Frederick moves in looking to clinch but Di Silva pushes him off.
Frederick fails with a takedown attempt.

Frederick throws an elbow that misses. Di Silva uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Frederick's guard. Nice move by Di Silva!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Di Silva drops back looking for a leg! Frederick is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Frederick manages to kick Di Silva off! Di Silva jumps back into Frederick's guard.

Frederick working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Di Silva doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Di Silva manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Jose Di Silva is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

I would just about give that final round to Jose Di Silva.
Well Di Silva has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
