PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bob Brody (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Peck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brody comes into the arena with my name is mud blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Robert Peck enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brody misses with a few strikes there.
Peck looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Peck takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Brody throws out a powerful jab.
Brody looks to land a combination but Peck avoids it well.
Brody really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Brody lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Brody is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Peck drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Brody defends it well.
Brody throws a nice looking combination but Peck bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Brody bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Peck's head.
A combination from Brody does no damage.
Brody throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Brody rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Peck moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Peck with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Brody to score with a decent uppercut.
Bob Brody seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Peck showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Brody.

Peck shoots for a double leg takedown but Brody sprawls well. He's pushed Peck's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Peck takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Danga de danga de dang - Brody scores with a four punch combination!
Brody just misses with a punch to the body.
Brody misses with a wild body shot.
Peck walks into a jab.
Peck takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Brody fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Peck on the side of the head.

Peck is rocked!
Brody lands a nice shot that snaps Peck's head back.
Peck is still on wobbly legs! Can Brody finish him?
Brody tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Peck defends well and Brody ends up having to push Peck into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Brody slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Brody wants to clinch.

Brody slaps away a takedown attempt from Peck, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Peck seems to have recovered his senses.
Brody scores with a jab to the body.
Peck takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Brody is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Brody fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Brody lands with an overhand left.

Brody is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Peck throws a left and a right that both miss
and Brody scores with a counter punch that sends Peck to the canvas! Brody smells blood - he's punishing Peck with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Peck has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Bob Brody bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
