Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Clay Glover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Beany (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Big Beany will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beany pulls out of a head kick attempt.
It appears Glover was looking to counter with a kick there.

and Glover decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Beany's guard.

Glover looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Beany with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Glover has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Beany uses from the top position.
