Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Blitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Loic Gunines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Blitz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Loic Gunines!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Konstantin Menshow and Illya Tyunina.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunines misses with a kick to the body.
Blitz lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Blitz instigates a clinch.
Blitz goes for a takedown attempt but Gunines pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Blitz doesn't manage to clinch there - Gunines circles away.
Gunines feints the counter takedown.
Gunines is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Blitz scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gunines wants to control but Blitz postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blitz tries to stand but Gunines is controlling his head.
Blitz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Blitz throws a strike aimed at the side of Gunines's head but Gunines avoids it well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gunines can do anything to dispel that myth.

Gunines tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Blitz wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Gunines manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Blitz wants to improve his position but Gunines is controlling well.
Gunines trying to mount his opponent but Blitz defends it.
Blitz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Blitz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gunines on the ground.

Blitz trying to hold on to Gunines's head to control him but Gunines postures up.

Gunines misses with a head shot. Blitz uses the momentum to regain guard.

Gunines is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Blitz is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Blitz has escaped and now he's on top!

Gunines has control of Blitz's left arm, preventing Blitz from doing any damage.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Gunines has eaten all the pies!

Blitz trying to stand up but can't free himself from Gunines's guard.
Gunines not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Gunines seems keen to control Blitz's posture.
Blitz trying to control the position from guard on top but Gunines is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Gunines is adopting a defensive guard.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Blitz fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
A slapping body kick lands there for Blitz.
Blitz lands a nice looking kick to the body. Gunines takes a step back to recover.
Gunines looks winded!
Gunines misses with a takedown

and Blitz counters with a crisp one two that drops Gunines! Blitz thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Gunines to his feet! Gunines is in big trouble!

Gunines is rocked!
Gunines gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!
