Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gil Mills (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Omar Dijkstra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dijkstra has chosen Soulfly - Back To The Primitive as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice cross by Mills.
Dijkstra darts in looking for a takedown but Mills gets double underhooks and turns Dijkstra into the cage.
Mills seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Dijkstra moves out of range of the strikes.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Mills.
Dijkstra blocks a head kick by Mills.
And Dijkstra tries to counter it with a takedown but Mills pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Dijkstra gets control of Mills's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dijkstra will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dijkstra had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mills defends it easily.

Dijkstra is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mills is just riding it out for now. Dijkstra eventually gives up the hold.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
