Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maxwell Koko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Der Debil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Debil has chosen Bulimic as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Maxwell Koko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Der Debil!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, John Kavanagh and Joseph Jones.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koko pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Koko shoots in but Debil avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Debil feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Debil makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Debil keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Koko's head.

Koko wants to stand up but Debil is controlling him.

Debil has gone for a leg lock! Koko slips out almost immediately though and dives into Debil's guard.

Koko sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Debil's guard.
Debil slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Debil wants to control the position but Koko says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Debil is trying to keep Koko in close.

Debil has his foot on Koko's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Koko works his way back into a safe position though.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Koko drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Koko jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Debil tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Koko has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Koko wants to control from the top but Debil keeps moving.
Koko looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Debil is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Koko is aware though and is defending well.

Koko avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Debil had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Koko defends it easily.

Debil is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Koko frees his head nicely. Oh but Debil has switched to an armbar! Koko is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
