PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Demetrius Cote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and WanTuTri Chums (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). WanTuTri Chums told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cote shoots and misses
and Chums counters with a big head kick but Cote shrugs it off.

Chums throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Cote tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Chums manages to circle out of the way.
Chums forces Cote back against the cage and clinches.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chums stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cote swivels though and keeps the full guard.
