Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ueki Boku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodrigo Silva has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Silva manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Boku keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Silva breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Boku fails to land the takedown.

Boku shoots in but Silva avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Silva moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Silva lands a nice hook to Boku's body. Boku takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Horrible takedown attempt by Boku or perhaps it was just good defense by Silva , which made it look bad.
Despite the aggression on Silva 's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Well Silva has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
