Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cyril Makarenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky McColgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McColgan is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Gael. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Rocky McColgan was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cyril Makarenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rocky McColgan!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makarenko throws a push kick but McColgan slaps the foot to one side.
Makarenko lands a head kick. McColgan smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Rocky McColgan has been cut.
A combination from Makarenko does no damage.
A nice side step and McColgan releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Makarenko crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from McColgan - the referee stops the clock and Makarenko gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says McColgan. Makarenko manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Makarenko throws a body shot but no joy.
McColgan avoids the body shot from Makarenko.
Makarenko throws a shot from downtown. McColgan moves away and avoids it.
McColgan looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Makarenko pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
A little jabbing left from McColgan on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Makarenko moves forwards but McColgan connects with a nice, crisp jab.
McColgan wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A solid leg kick lands there for Makarenko.
Makarenko walks into a straight right hand from McColgan.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Makarenko misses the body punch

and McColgan counters with a crisp one two that drops Makarenko! McColgan thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Makarenko to his feet! Makarenko is in big trouble!

Makarenko is rocked!
Makarenko walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! McColgan swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
