Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between wu xu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Book (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tommy Book has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Book throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around xu's waist but xu gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Book off to one side.

xu closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Book did well to prevent xu getting side control.
Book pushes xu off looking to stand but xu dives back in and keeps control.
xu could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Book is looking for a sweep. xu is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

xu decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
xu throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

xu darts in and clinches Book up against the cage.
xu is pressed up against the cage. Book has hold of a leg and is looking to drag xu down to the mat. xu avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Book gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Book is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
xu wants to control from the top but Book keeps moving.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Book bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in xu's guard.

xu can't keep his opponent in guard - Book advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
xu wants to get back to his feet.
Book tries to pass to full mount but xu defends it.

Book moves into full mount! xu won't be happy about that!
xu is trying to stand up.

Book throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! xu has his hands clasped together but Book breaks the hold and xu is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Book!
