PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nate Brennan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lewis comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Remedy kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Nate Brennan looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brennan on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Brennan looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Lewis throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Brennan gets caught flat footed, as Lewis shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Lewis is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Lewis drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Brennan dives on top into guard.
Lewis pulls Brennan in close to prevent any damage.
Lewis lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Brennan!

Lewis jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Brennan manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Brennan is not content to let Lewis control the position.

Lewis is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Brennan is trying to escape and Lewis transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Brennan is forced to tap! Nice work there by Lewis! Very nice indeed!
