Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hitmon Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bud Macintosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Macintosh.
Macintosh throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lee's waist but Lee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Macintosh off to one side.

Lee shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Macintosh manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Lee got a little sloppy there for a moment and Macintosh has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lee has managed to get both his arms back between Macintosh's legs - danger averted.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The fighters are battling for position here. Macintosh manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Macintosh is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lee's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lee's back!
Lee manages to reverse the position and now he's in Macintosh's guard. Nice work there by Lee.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Macintosh stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lee swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Macintosh changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lee tries to avoid it but Macintosh manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lee to the ground. Lee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Lee lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Macintosh has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Macintosh and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Lee closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Macintosh did well to prevent Lee getting side control.
