Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leroy Raymond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Ripper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ripper is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Highway to Hell. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Raymond changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ripper looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Raymond lands some shots froms side control.
Ripper is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Raymond misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Raymond could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Raymond wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ripper, who protects the arm well.

The ground and pound from Raymond seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Raymond looks up at the clock and then as Ripper takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Raymond smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Raymond is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Ripper looks calm but he's in trouble here. Raymond gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Ripper is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Raymond lets go of the hold and Ripper can pop his arm back in it's socket.
