Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mack Nguyen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nico Agosto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Agosto has chosen 3 days grace ~ animal i've become as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Agosto shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Nguyen's guard.

Nguyen has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Agosto off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Agosto bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Nguyen throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Agosto closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Nguyen sneaks out the side door and pushes Agosto away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Nguyen seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Agosto rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nguyen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
As Agosto tries to get set, Nguyen tries to push him back and clinch up but Agosto manages to avoid the attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nguyen is defended easily by Agosto.
Despite the aggression on Agosto's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Nguyen manages to escape and get back to his feet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Agosto stalks Nguyen and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Nguyen's face. Nguyen staggers backwards, shaken.
