The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tomas jabs Toke right on the nose. Toke blinks but takes it well.
Tomas jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Toke throws a body punch but Tomas moves out of range.
Tomas throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
It appears Toke was looking to counter with a kick there.
Toke ducks under a wild hook from Tomas.
Tomas with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Toke to score with a decent uppercut.
Toke throws the kick towards the body but Tomas avoids it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Toke. Tomas does a little dance to reset his feet.
Tomas throws out a powerful jab.
Toke moves out of range as Tomas strikes.
As Tomas looks to move away, Toke throws a big counter combo bu Tomas just gets out of the way.
Toke moves away from the strike by Tomas.
Toke scores with a hook to the body. Tomas takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Tomas throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A low kick from Tomas misses

and Toke counters by clinching up.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Toke pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Tomas turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Tomas tries to sprawl but Toke drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Toke not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Tomas is not content to let Toke control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tomas won't allow Toke to pass to mount.
Toke lands strikes from half guard.
Tomas is refusing to be controlled, as Toke sits in half guard.

Toke is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Toke in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Tomas tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Toke!
