And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin James!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrenko is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
James looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

James has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Petrenko after a bit of a struggle.

It looks like Kevin James has been cut.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Petrenko as James tries to tie him up.

James wants the takedown. Petrenko is fighting it off but James persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Petrenko's guard against the cage.

Petrenko has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. James is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Petrenko misses with the head strike.
Petrenko misses with an elbow over the top.

Petrenko escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

James drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Petrenko swings wildly with an uppercut but James uses good head movement to avoid it.
Petrenko lands an elbow inside that James shrugs off.
Petrenko misses with a short punch on the inside.
Petrenko misses with a punch on the inside.
Petrenko gets through James's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
James is still on wobbly legs! Can Petrenko finish him?
James tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Petrenko pulls back and lands a big elbow that stuns James! Petrenko unloads with more strikes and James sinks to his knees! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dmitry Petrenko!
Dmitry Petrenko gave a mention to Spartan Nutrition in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
