Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bill Whisp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Adam Hatton!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whisp throws a left and a right that both miss
and Hatton counters with a shoot takedown. Whisp fights it but they end up in guard.
Hatton controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Hatton chips away with some ground and pound.
Hatton is pushing down on Whisp's leg trying to pass to half guard. Whisp is fighting to maintain full guard but Hatton has managed to sneak the leg through.
Hatton landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Hatton lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Whisp is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Hatton scores with a couple of nice shots.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hatton is nestled in close to Whisp, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Hatton seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Hatton takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Hatton takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Hatton looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Whisp is rocked!
Hatton looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Whisp with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Oh Whisp is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hatton lands a big elbow - Whisp is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Hatton!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Adam Hatton!
