Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between JR Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Mazzuca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adams comes to the cage accompanied by 'Looking For The Stone' by Dry Branch Fire Squad. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Adams is defended easily by Mazzuca.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Mazzuca, right into the meat.
Adams darts in looking for a takedown but Mazzuca gets double underhooks and turns Adams into the cage.
Mazzuca fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

As Mazzuca looks to move away, Adams throws a big counter combo bu Mazzuca just gets out of the way.
A looping hook to the body misses from Adams. Mazzuca does a little dance to reset his feet.

Adams fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mazzuca manages to avoid it.

It looks like JR Adams has been cut.
Mazzuca's coach down at Beauty School was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Mazzuca's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Adams shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mazzuca manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Adams is fighting to break Mazzuca's control of his arms but Mazzuca is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Adams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mazzuca swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Adams will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Adams shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mazzuca but Mazzuca pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Adams has Mazzuca pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Mazzuca manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

A frustrated look appears on Adams's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Adams drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mazzuca pulls his leg out and moves away.
Adams throws a head kick but Mazzuca moves out of range.

Mazzuca replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Adams blocks it well.

Mazzuca lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Adams can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Mazzuca and Adams drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Mazzuca.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Robert Mazzuca!
Robert Mazzuca spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
The defeated JR Adams had this to say: 'Ain't this terrible?!'.
