Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Terry Akki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randall Wickam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Terry Akki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Randall Wickam!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wickam shoots in looking for a takedown. Akki tries to sprawl out of it but Wickam keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Akki manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Wickam looks to throw the jab but Akki is out of range.
Akki connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Wickam throws a lazy uppercut
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Wickam swings away with a body shot that misses
and Akki counters with a head kick. That will keep Wickam thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
We've been told by Akki's head coaches at Boston MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Akki walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Akki ducks right into an uppercut from Wickam.
Wickam tests Akki's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Wickam moves into range and connects with a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wickam tries for a takedown but Akki circles away easily
and Akki counters with a good low kick that Wickam was not able to check.
Wickam swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Akki counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Wickam connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Wickam looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
It appears Akki was looking to counter with a kick there.
Terry Akki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randall Wickam.
Wickam misses with a right hand
and Akki counters with a good low kick that Wickam was not able to check.
Sloppy strikes from Wickam. Those never looked like landing.
Wickam fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Akki on the side of the head.
Akki needs to keep his hands up - Wickam had a free shot at his head there.
Akki is rocked!
Akki walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Wickam swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Randall Wickam!
Randall Wickam seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
